Whats the widest 16" wheel that will fit?

Looking into gettimg my stock wheels (silver directionals) widened. Whats the widest 16" wheel that will fit in the rear using the stock offset? How about the front?

I wouldn't bother widening the front.

Keep in mind that widening wheels will change the offset. I think you can widen them about 2" in the rear before you run into problems. The fronts will hit the spindle if you widen them too much, the rears have a little more room.

Yeah, sorry, probably should have stated that I'm just widening the rears. Just looking to get a wider tire back there so that perhaps I can take care of some of my traction issues.

BFG Drag Radials will fit on stock wheels and cure most of your traction issues.

Already running DR's, but I'm looking to use a wider tire in the rear for auto-x and open track events.
