Well Friday nite was just test and tune so no money races.

It was soooooooooo crowded and the place was sooooooooo slooooooooooowwwww. I managed a whopping three runs in 3 hours after driving 2-1/2 hours. One win, one loss, one solo.

That is the problem with anything popular -- it gets too crowded to get many runs.

Being the first night runs of the season and on a holiday weekend to boot probably had something to do with the crowds as well. ;)

The atmospheric conditions weren't great but at a track elevation of 600 feet the density altitude calculated in around 1600-2300 feet, so it wasn't that bad either. Just not conditions for best track times. I was happy to see the consistency in the timeslips, just not near enough runs to really 'test and tune'.

Oh well, it sure felt good to hear the tires burning and smell the rubber! :D
