WTB - Cordovan Door Handle

Does anyone have a driver's side outer door handle? :rolleyes:

I would take any color, but the car is Cordovan, so red one would be ideal... :D

Yep, all Mark VIII door handles will fit all year Mark VIII's. There is also a large window of Continental handles that will work also.

That being said, The one I have is the updated style that is thicker than the earlier year Mark VIII's. I removed it from a car at the junkyard. It had been a replacement that the previous owner didn't paint. I'll take $30 shipped for it. Do you want the springs also? I should have some that I can include if you want them.

I've also got a bunch of chrome Continental handles that will work. They are also the updated design. If you're interested in those, I'll sell a left/right set for $45 shipped.
 
Check to make sure it's the handle itself that is broken, and not the housing that it attaches to. You should be able to tell by lifting up on the handle and looking from underneath.

If you need that part (the housing), I've got some of those also (not in primer), and can include one if you want.

is the handle all I need, I thought the surround was part of it too...?
 
LOOKS LIKE YOUR DOOR WAS FROZE SHUT! (Damn caps lock) You can prevent that by using WD40 on the rubber every cold season!

Man, sorry it took me so long to get back to you. Work was a little busy.
Here's a couple that I just found. The black one is the one that I was thinking was primered. I guess I remembered wrong. I've got a set of springs that I can send with it, too. It would most likely need to be sanded down to be painted. That would probably be part of the normal prep process anyway though. The second one is another one that I found that is complete and primered, but the primer is gone in a couple areas, so it would also need to be reprimer'd. If you want the second one, I'd like to get $40 shipped for that one since it is complete. If you want me to ship it express mail, I have no problem doing that if you agree to pay the extra shipping charges. I also don't mind cross-shipping it, where you pay me after I ship it. It would probably end up being easier that way, cuz we'll know how much actual shipping was. The earliest that I would be able to send one out would be tomorrow possibly during lunch, otherwise it would be after work. If you happen to see this tonight, let me know through this post or through PM as soon as you can. Before I leave for work in the morning would be best if possible.

Sure, I can send both. I just noticed that the springs are on backwards on the primered one. I'll switch those around and install them correctly before I send them off. I've got some kind of asbestos class at the local technical college today for work, and it's pretty close to the post office, so I should be able to get them sent out during lunch.

Just sent them out a couple minutes ago. $9.00 for priority shipping and should be there Saturday. I hope that's soon enough for you. To get there Friday would have been like $35. It didn't really seem like it was worth it to me. Paypal address is LINCMK7LSC (at) AOL.COM.
