Almost afraid to mention it as it might jinx it all but so far so good, Moose is running great and no further problems after nearly a month.

Anyone near York PA who can take a few minutes to look at a vehicle for me? Pictures look good but can be deceiving. There is an Aviator at a dealership that I'm interested in.

Moose might be for sale.. I emphasize MIGHT. I have found a 2004 Aviator with only 80K that appears in very good condition.

Flushed the system in 2016 but with the head gasket leak I was putting in fluid 2 to 3 times a week! Today is day 4 and so far excellent results. All the problems are gone and Moose runs smooth as a kitten with no fluid loss.

I used Bars Blown Head Gasket Repair (HG-1), https://barsleaks.com/product/blown-head-gasket-repair/ I followed the directions exactly and so far since yesterday Moose does not overheat, seems not to be loosing antifreeze which it was rather quickly, no white smoke. Even the idle works better...

Moose may have developed a head gasket leak, I'm losing fluid every few days. It also has an occasional rough start and once blew out a lot of white exhaust. I'm thinking of using the Bars Head Gasket Repair. Anyone ever used this before?

Try GENTLY cleaning the inside of the window with a mixture of Dawn dishwashing detergent and water applied using a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. GENTLY (no pressure) wipe the inside and see if that helps.

Do you think it's possible that the noise is coming from somewhere else other than the doors? Could a noise in the engine compartment or under the car be transferring to the interior giving the impression it's coming from the doors? Sunroof maybe? Something like when there's a vibration in one...

No, should I have? - - - Updated - - - It's pouring rain today (better than snow!) but tomorrow I'll clean the MAF, install the gasket, it's also time I should replace all the coils and plugs, been a while since I did that.

This is weird, was having a bad idle so I put in a new Motorcraft IACV. Now Moose has a very rough start when cold, shakes and shudders badly then smooths out within 15 seconds or so. The valve did not have a gasket included but parts store is getting one for me on Monday. Any ideas?
