It's that time of year again. This year it is on the 29th of June.

It should be better this year as Fort street has been repaved from Pennsylvania road north.:thumbsup:

Right, but that's Illinois, not here in the Detroit Michigan area. Where I am we can use some rain.

I'll be there around 10:30, I'll have to come home around 12:00, then I'll head back to the cruise. Jeremi said he and Martin might make it.

Ah, it's 10:20 now and I'm not ready, didn't hear from anyone so I figured there wouldn't be much interest! I could be there around noon to 1:00 or so.

So far, it's a great day, not too hot and no rain yet, lots of nice cars.
I'm taking a lunch break now, I'll be going back there soon.

The Lincoln dealership is blocked off this year, but most cruisers are turning around before that anyway, because of the road construction. My dad and I checked out the Kmart parking lot and Ford dealer lot. That's a good place to park too.

Thanks Bill, it's 1:00 now, I'll be leaving in about 10 minutes and I should be there around 1:30 or a little past. Dunno where the rest of the guys will be, the Mustang Owners Club are at the Ford dealership. I'm supposed to meet my buddy with the white 91 Porsche 928 around there. Guess I'll find out.

Bill has quite a few, he had his camera and I forgot mine. I took a video with my cell phone (3gp format) of Bill doing two high-screech burnouts with his white 97 LSC! It was a good time!

This was one of the best downriver cruises ever!:thumbsup:

Thanks again everyone for showing up!
The weather was threatening all day, but we never got a drop of rain.

First, I checked it out with my dad, then I came back and actually found Gonzo in the lane next to me while cruising around.:cool-blue:

Then Jeremi, Martin, Gary, and Margaret showed up for the fun.

Yes it was one of the better Downriver Cruises! It was great to see everyone!

The 1st Wayne Road Cruise is in 2 weeks on July 13 on Wayne Rd between Joy Rd and Glenwood Rd in Westland, there is no Michigan Avenue Cruise this year, it's been cancelled, and then there's the Telegraph Rd Cruise on July 27. The Wayne Rd event is actually called "The All American Cruise".
