that is nice, the $5100 bid right now is as high as i would go, maybe to $5500, would be nice if someone in the club got it.

I saw that as well.

I am always leary of "too shiny" paint.

I would need to see it in person.

Me too, I always thought that an older car owner in Florida would have it garage-kept but that's not always a safe guarantee of nothing wrong with it. I always hear Jeremi in the back of my mind saying: "these cars need to be driven!"

Two things I see are the driver's seat is very dirty and the floor mats do not say " Collector's Edition" It doesn't look right to me. I have a 98' CE #158. mine has 124K and the front seat looks better than that. Mark

He claims "FULLY LOADED" but I don't see any heated seats... :D

It's nice but I do agree that drivers seat should be in nicer shape and what's up with the 10 disc in the trunk, mine had a carpeted cover on it. :)

Mine too has the cover.. did they drop it for '98 or something?
My disc player has the cover on it. I researched the CE and you could buy one without the heated seats ( THEY ARE NICE TO HAVE)!! :fart Mike I believe that the engine cover was not included in the 98' Mark

Well I'm sure you could buy it without the heated seats but that wouldn't make it "FULLY LOADED"

We are speaking about the carpeted cover on the 10 disc changer. Mine had it as well and it's a '98. The "Intech" cover on the motor was a '97 only thing.

the factory installed Sony 10 disk sucked, so dealers were installing 6 after market ones from Clarion I think.

and the drivers seat stuck out to me as well, could have been the owner down there ate a lot of blue plate specials.

CE

Come on cant you guys pick apart this ce so in case a member is looking at it he'll have more info. I can smell the very nice re-paint from here. The pin striping could have been removed. They did'nt paint the riverts that hold the ft plate holder. 45K and has lasagna window moulding. Drivers seat belt looks tan and dirty Idles at 500rpm in park No CE lettering on door panel wood. Pic of CE int w/89K.

It does have the CE badge on the door pillar but there is no close up. the seat condition will depend on different things such as the drivers entry/exit habit, entry/exit frequency, weight, leather conditioning habits, etc. The real test is how firm is the bolster foam. I looked at at CE here that came out of Cali with 25K. The seat leather looked similiar, but the bolster foam was rock hard like a new seat. I guess you would just have to research the VIN number to see if it is real and it's history.

There is are 2 notes in the carfax history regarding the door trim panels being replaced under warranty. Maybe they did not use CE panels or did not bother to change the wood piece. If it is truly a CE then that would be an easy thing to fix. I did not know dealers reported service histories to Carfax, bt it looks like it was always dealer maintained.
