Well it's time to tighten up the steering .I think these upper control arms are the last OEM left on the planet. The lowers are moog and the strut rod to arm are from Supercoupe Performance . I do have a question I recall someone saying I need to preload the control arms before tightening.Does this hold true to the OEM control arms.

When you install the upper control arms, the originals will freely (but snugly) move up and down with your hand. The aftermarket and T bird ones won't, they aren't designed to pivot.

I think the reason they did this was because of the air suspension changing height at speed, it doesn't wind up the bushing.

If you install the ones that don't pivot, I would recommend tightening them down at the ride height you want them to be at, same with the lower control arm to airspring bolt and lower control arm to K member.

Psst... I don't think so.

I'm pretty sure I have a set stored away in the parts shed. :p

I just hope I don't have to find them! LOL

I don't want to install then either . I guess it beats a bent fender and possibly a damaged door.
