BMW Traction Assist installed in Mark VIII

We got dumped on, with 6" of snow yesterday. I drove my green 94 in to work with summer tires and no Traction Assist option.

I stopped by Jeremi's on the way home, and we installed the Traction Assist he had in his garage. It works great!

It's a BMW transmission in the trunk:

Jeremi told me that trans is actually made by GM.

yep...BMW transmission, GM built, Lincoln installed, traction control.
I instantly think of a domestic microbrew.
German recipe, domestically farmed ingredients.
of course, I always think of beer...even when I see a BMW transmission in the trunk of a Lincoln.
Mmmm.....beer.

Haha... got me on this one! Snow tires can make a huge difference though.

I've got the snow tires on my CE, but it was down at the time.
