Check Ride system warning.

I am getting an intermittent air ride suspension warning. As this vehicle ('95 Conti) is equipped with the multiple ride settings feature, I am not sure if the warning is in regards to the air suspension (compressor) or the actually system for changing the ride quality.

Also, anybody have any good advice for computer scanners and cost. Seems like it might be a good investment. We have five Lincolns we could use it on now.

Hmm.... I dont know much regarding mechanical functions but ill give it a go.

1. Are you sure that the Air Ride switch in the trunk is on?
2. Maybe one of the bags has a leak, have you tried maybe leaving the car off for like a day or two and see if the car is sagging more than normal?

A scanner should run ya right around $20-50, you can pick them up at most auto parts stores, the Conti is a '95, well that means it either has OBD-I or OBD-II, but im placing my bet on it being OBD-II.
