I need some help from whoemever may know, I'm considering purchasing an 88 Continental from a guy who says it's in top condition aside from a digital gauge cluster that refuses to do anything at all. I found a new cluster for an 89, will that fit? Am I opening a can of worms I don't want to open with this dash problem? Any suggestions on where I might want to go for a new dash? I'd appreciate any help you can afford me. Thanks alot, Newbie

When I had my 1998 MK 8 I bought a wood kit from Joshua Wood. It was good quality and it also matched. I was happy with it.

However, after I installed it, I got to looking around the web at competitors and found other kits were the same price, or a little less, and had more pieces. I wrote to the other companies, and found that for an unrealistic (sky high) price they'd sell the the "missing" pieces, which I did install.

However, since that time I have found the #1 best wood dash place in the world!! Great prices, REAL wood, 100% guarantee and if you mess a piece up installing it, you can buy a replacement for a realistic price. I installed one on my new Town Car, and it's outta this world! 100% perfect match, real wood, and a support team that cares and it's so beautiful that my selling dealer's technicians saw it and assumed it was part of the factory "LIMITED" package (mid year model)!

That company is in Canada, and is called Sherwood Dash. You can hook up with them at

Rocket sent me some cigars. They are very funny tasting, and have a weird smell to them. The fish swims backwards when I smoke them in the room the fish bowl is in.

Used to like it more than now. Not so enthusiastic over it now. Still like Marvin Gaye & the Four Tops the best.
