I guess the iphone interfaces differently, now what would you do if it was five or ten minutes later and.you've already closedthe page in safari ?

Hmmm... must be different with the Android OS - the iPhone works well for me with Safari on the mobile site. I don't post a lot from it. My fat thumbs don't work well with the iPhone keyboard. But there are times it's all I have to view the site and try to keep up.

edit: Yup. it works. even on my crazy Opera browser, under crazy windows 7.

Maybe it was a timeout, I am not sure. For ex I can't edit the above post anymore. But I could have sworn I made posts and immediately tried to go back and edit and couldn't
