I didn't read through this whole thread yet and not sure if it has been asked yet but... can you add a Todays Posts to the top list?
Sometimes I start to read a thread but get distracted and have to shut down the website. A hour or so later I want to keep reading but I can't find the thing as I didnt notice the particular forum I was in then I spend too much frustration trying to find it. On other forums I just click the 'Todays Posts' button and all posts are there even if I have started to read them.

warden: that's a good idea. I always just whack the "new posts" button, but you are right. If I want to reply later, it's basically gone. :)

Sharon, I have noticed a slight delay in the "thanks" appearing after clicking the button. Not every time, but sometimes. usually no more than a few seconds. I've gotten used to it, so I'll just move on, and check back after reading the next post. It's always appears sooner or later..

If you don't read a "new post" on a thread it will still come up as new, but I think you mean once you read it it won't show as new again and you have to find it if you want to reply.

Exactly. There have been times I've wanted to wait until I have more information available to reply, and I'm pretty darned forgetful. :D Super minor, but I do like the idea. Probably more of a "feature request" than a "bug fix."

The RSS feeds were turned off. I turned the Ford and Lincoln feeds back on but left the joke feed off.

On a related note, once we get vBadvanced working for the front page of the forums, the Ford and Lincoln News feeds would be good material along with COTM and other announcements. ;)

This probably didn't affect many users, but I'm a lurker and haven't posted anything. I created a new account thinking my other one was disabled for some reason. Same thing with the new one.

Said I needed 5 posts to view or reply to anything. It's fixed now, but it was a problem for most of last night (for those in the states).

first unread post

Before the upgrade no matter what PC or browser i was using i could click on the first new post and go there. now after the upgrade i notice if i switch PC or browser sometime it does not remember my last read post. this even happens if i use the mark all forums read feature. Typically that info is stored on the server with the user name information, they only thing i can think of is now this information is being cached locally? Anyone else that uses multiple PC and browsers notice this?

this was something I did because we were getting inundated with spammers but after billcu brought it to my attention I switched that off. Sometimes I don't see all the angles of the work I do so I appreciate everyone letting me know what they find.

i didn't make any change to this and I don't have the same issue between my computer, the 3 different browsers I check and my iPhone and iPad, so unless someone else has similar issues I'd say this is on your end.

I browse on a Mac, two different PC's, iPhone and iPad and don't have any issues with posts being marked read.

not being marked read, but for example I read Mike's reply, i mark the forums read, now if i go to read new since you posted it shows up again, all is good there. But when i click on the little button to go to first unread, it went to Mike's post but it should have jumped to yours. And now I am on the same computer and browser too.

I will look around the user settings to see if there is anything.

sounds to me like you used the back browser button and didn't refresh. That's what it would do if u did that.
