Everyone should do this at least once, I have been doing some part of the tour for the last 10 years off and on. This year I plan to do the whole long haul. Hopefully we can see some of you southern guys at this.

Rumor has it that I need a new navigator though. I don't think there's enough casinos along the way on this year's route to entice the wife to ride along. :laugh:

Everyone finds their own way to do this. I prefer to travel the official route but if needed, you can make up time by driving the more direct path. I almost never get an early start, but that's OK since there is no official start time. Some days will be more laid back and sometimes it's like a rally to get to the next venue just to get checked in. Sometimes I like to run with a group but mostly I prefer to run solo.

Point is, don't let it intimidate you. Whether for a couple days or the long haul, if you're a true automotive enthusiast, you need to experience this. :thumbsup:
