K Member Refinishing

Eight hours of stripping and wire brushing and it's finally ready for rustproofing. Here are some before and after pictures.

In retrospect, I'll have someone else clean/prep/powder coat it.

I will have to agree with you. POR needs a surface with some bite (ideally sand blasted) to really stick to it. Otherwise it will peel sooner or later.

I've used this product called TractorCote with better results than POR15. Also, when applying it, use a small fine roller for application, it will give a more uniform finish.

I agree so I called a local powder coating shop and texted them a picture the owner quoted me $100.00 for the entire job. Stay tuned for more pictures.

I have seen stranger things called art. I never answered your question it was a PITA I soaked the nuts with PB blaster and worked them out by loosening then tightening a little repeating the process until the bolts came out unbroken.

I was just looking at them last night but first I need to find the correct bushings that allow camber adjustment.

It's been some time since I updated this thread. I made some progress the last few weekends.
