Kansas City Area Members - Meetup?

Well after going to Carlisle this year I'm a motivated to check to see if there are more members near KC that would be interested in meeting up as it seems most of the members that meet up are more on the east side of the country then in the midwest.

So who is on here that would be interested in meeting somewhere near Kansas City? Maybe St Louis, De Monies? Somewhere that would work well for people in the midwest.

If we have to, we could go to Chicago, which is about 8 hours for me in KC, but that's half the distance that Carlisle was.

It looks like Kansas City would take me as long as Carlisle, but Chicago is not bad for me.

It would mostly come down to scheduling and finances

Kansas City is plenty good for me. About 7 hours of drive time, with Chicago being about 6, I'd do either one on a whim for a quick weened meet.

Coming from Nashville I'm much closer to St. Lou or anywhere near it. I think STL is 4 hours from me.

Who cares about a damaged fender! The meetup would be open to all, rusted out, wrecked, showroom shape, whatever.

Just something to get the area members to be more active and actually get to know people. Perhaps this time next year we could plan a caravan out to Carlisle?

I'm possible. St. Louis is about 5 hours from here. Too bad all routes go through Chicago or I could cut an hour off my times.

We do need to get meets spread out for more people to be able to attend.

I saw Devin's post about the racing meet, no fun in racing if your car is stock! BUt can be fun to watch sometimes I guess!

We've had a meet in STL and there have been plenty in Chicago... both excellent locations...

Chi is 16 hours, and I forget how many STL was, I think it was around 20ish...

We've also done Indy, Cincinnati, Detroit...
