i've owned about 7 or 8 includding parts cars. they are fun and cheaper to mod due to the 5.0. i enjoyed them but parts are getting harder to find. i now own 2 mark 8's and no 7's. they can be fun just get the best one you can find with the best paint as thats been the most expensive part to get done for me.

my wife is mad enough about the 2 8's she would kill me if another mark7 showed up.

Driller you saw 2 of my mark7's the silver one was at ssh4, the black one was at ssh7,
and the red one made ssh2 but with the original owner

I don't know if this was it or not?

Technically I still own the Mark VII, I turned it over to my youngest son as his first vehicle. It's in pretty bad shape now but in storage at his in-laws place. He loved the car and still has plans to restore it.

What is this crazyness? :D

Why am I just learning about this now? :D

Anyway, I've always liked the 7, and they have a good club with a bunch of very nice people :D

Flattery will get you everywhere.
You can thank Dawnne and her clan :D

Very welcoming, I try to make those breakfasts... and I love that they are always planned in the middle of Mass, where no one lives, and it is equally inconvenient for everyone to get there, no matter what state you live in... :D

Plus who doesn't love the "one of these things is not like the other ones" pictures... :D

LOL... you never knew?

I'm really not sure I ever knew about the Mark 7...
But I know how much crap I'm going to give Jus the next time I see him :D

Also, I'd forgotten how cool I thought your driving light set up was... :D

Dare I ask what happened to Oldschool numbers 2,3,4,6,7, and 8?
I parted out 2,3,4,6.
7 is PINKIN.
8 is an extremely rare project, currently residing in a corner of the shop.

I replaced 2 with a 1984 with 19,000 miles on the clock.

And now you have to tell us all about #8. :D I already have an idea, and I'm thinking it has to do with a little car company in the south of Germany...

Oh, I see parts of them every day!
The transmission from OldSchool3 is in my Lady's 1990.
The transmission from OldSchool6 is in ~my~ 1990.
The pull down motor from ... well, you get it. the rest of the parts are in bins or stored in my shop.

Yup, but just the engine and the Styr transmission.
OldSchool8 is a
1984 Lincoln Continental Mark VII Gianni Versace Turbo Diesel in Walnut. It starts, runs, and stops, but needs a lot of cosmetics.
My modern pictures aren't available at this time, but soon.

I've always been fascinated by the diesel Mark VII, and a limited edition to boot! I'm definitely looking forward to seeing more on that one.

The convertable that I want is still in someone else's garage in Chicago.
I'm headed to York, PA via Chicago Tuesday afternoon. Tell me where the keys are, and I'll hook you up. :D :D
