I, for the life of me, cannot get a socket on the top bolt that connects the cat to the exhaust manifold on my 97. I've tried a long extension but it hits the frame and doesn't get on straight enough to grab. I've tried a flex extension which was a joke, and I've tried a long wobble extension. Nothing will sit on it level enough to stay on when I start twisting. Any recommendations? Do I have to get the O2 sensor out of the way somehow?
Passenger exhaust bolt?

Your exhaust unbolts? Every one that ive seen its just snapped and needed to be drilled?
I got every bolt off except that one....I did snap one with a breaker bar when I was working on it a couple days ago. I was too drunk to realize I was turning it the wrong way.
I couldn't get to that bolt to save my life so I ended up hacking the exhaust off there with my reciprocating saw...I plan on getting new exhaust anyway.
