Possible new Mark VII

I have an opportunity to purchase a very low mileage 1989 Mark VII to compliment my well loved Mark VIII. I see very little activity regarding these cars on this forum. Do any of you have suggestions about where I should try to get more info about these cars, or is the following too small for people to bother?

A Mark VII? I thought they went from VI to VIII and skipped VII.

Does anyone know if the 89 mark VII had mass air like the Mustangs, or did they still have speed density?

Should have a MAF sensor, 88's where the last year they didn't have one.

If you're doing a conversion on a 5.0 to Mass air...MAKE SURE you get the ECU that corresponds with the MAF sensor from the same car.

I did the conversion on my Notch and it was very easy...just moved some pins around on the ECU harness, added some pins, and ran wires from the ECU to the MAF.
