I came across some pics on the Lincoln Mark VIII Addicts page and seen a red and a green car with a rear wing.Does anybody know where I can get one? Is it off a Ford Tortoise?(yes I know its a Taurus).

Option 1, LMS used to sell a 3 piece one way back in the day, but finding one might take a few years and I've heard the fitment was sub-par.

Option 2, like you said is the Ford Taurus wing. It doesn't "hug the hump" well but I've seen more of those used.

Option 3 is to make your own, like Jason did with his. He took a second truck lid, cut the skin from the hump and "massaged it" on the his boot lid.

Personally I like not having one, too many nice lines on the car. But to each their own.

I think a wing by itself looks odd. But if you combine with other custom features such as a custom cowl hood, ground effects, and bumpers then it is not a bad accent.

I've seen a couple that didn't look too bad, but like Beerdog said, they look better with other ground effects/body mods: Ponyfreak (Joe Barrett) used to have a body kit on his modified Gen 1 but not sure about the spoiler.
here's a Gen 1 with the old LMS style wing. And a Gen 2 with a taurus wing.

I'm for sure gonna buy one. That guy paid over $250 for his.At $21 at my local Pick Your Part is a steal.Doesn't matter what color because I'm repainting my car in 1962 Lincoln Black Cherry.

If youre going to be the one painting the car i have a little advice

Make sure you have control over the temp and humidity, dont use a cheap spray gun

The Pewter Gray did used to be James Craig's car. Now a guy who works for Carlos Mejia owns it. It really is an extremely tastefully done wing and the car was gorgeous! :tongue-pink:

And, Hi guys! I've been mega busy lately. Hope everyone is well.
