Replacement cat and 3rd cat

The drivers side is bad now, so what would you guys recommend? I'm not sure if the shop can just cut this one and weld in a new. Passenger side has a replacement that they supplied.
Also i'm gonna get rid of the 3rd cat, what should i get for there?

Do you have emissions testing in your area? If so, I wouldn't recommend deleting the NOx trap. You may not pass. If you don't, then you don't have to put anything there besides an x or h pipe.

Depends on the emissions testing that is done. Most places with 96 and newer they only do the OBD-II readiness and no MIL codes testing, no sniffing, so any cat after all the o2 sensors won't affect the testing.

Well i took it to the shop and they cant do it for any less than 1000 considering the rust and placement. Im a little forced to go with gutting it and turnig off the rear 02 sensors until i get longtubes
Would there be any noticable performence changes in this?
