Yep, im with Lvnmarks. Nice score on the parts truck!. Id do the same thing and restore the original even if it needed more work. Looks like you got everything you need. I used to have that same truck in a hideous brown color. But it served me well with the 302 in it.

That is turning out real nice! Will there be any engine beautification?
That takes real money! The truck is mechanically sound though. With recent ball joints, tie rods, steering gear, wheel bearing, oil pan gasket, fuel pump (in and out of tank), plugs, wires, cap, and rotor. So the only two things I know are wrong with it are the A/C doesn't work and the windshield washer motor. Neither one of them have I looked at yet.

Of course, its back in the shop today. I wish I had time/space to look at these issues myself, but it was completely out of brake fluid, the rear main seal appears to be leaking quite a bit, and the turn signal is way too hard to move.

I believe this is referred to as "rework" :)

it all sounds like little stuff. You'll have it back in no time.

That truck looks great. Now put a gooseneck with a half-dozen round bales on it and film yourself a Ford commercial about teaching the kid to drive a manual. 110% America.
