It will go soon. Make offers for whatever. I have a factory manual and a wooden shifter from Alex.

Sad to see it go but I have a new Fiesta SFE, an amazing car, and my 87 Samurai so it's time. A nice car with a good motor and tranny, no major damage and I wish I had more money.

Do you have the small harness that goes from the head unit to the cowl area? It's a single cable easily removed, although there is one small pushpin holding it in.

Do you still have the cable in the trunk for the CD changer? I need the connectors to the changer with a little bit of wire still on them.

Also, do you have the JBL amplifier?

I think I have 2 amps. One which only works when it's cold. I have the head harness, it's the single one, I guess. I have all the head connectors anyway. I do not have the CD plugin, it went with the CD player.

Do you think you could take a photo of the cable?

I would be interested in that, and the 1 working amp.

That sounds good, yes it's the cable on the left with the small connectors. I'll send you a PM. I just remembered, I bought some stuff from you before.

It's the small cable, the CD changer cable, it disconnects down by the bottom of the A pillar around the lower door hinge area. I'll see if I can find a photo of it.

That's fine Chris, the F5 amp was made in 95, I can use it in my 97 or 98 or change connectors to fit my 94's.

OK. Explain to me where the end of that wire is, and what I have to remove to get to it. This is turning into work and I'm retired.

I'm not in any hurry. ;) I guess the screw in the top of the kick panel are next but I'm not sure.

Glad to hear this Chris, I've got Friday off, I'll be able to get better photos then, as it will be light out.:)

Here they are.

Lift the threshold, remove the weatherstrip and kick panel:

Then remove the shoddy absorber and drop the close out panel, 3 7 mm screws:

Then remove the push pin for the connector plate.

The black connector is right behind that plate.

The cable is routed under the glove box where the close out panel was screwed in. There is a push pin for it there, and the cable continues behind the dash I think there is another pushpin there.
