Speakers popping and going out randomly?

I had this issue a few months ago and it went away randomly with some playing with the headunit. This time it wont so im assuming its the speakers or amp.

I can get a whole set from my friend at bestbuy for pretty cheap but i dont know what i should put in

My money would be on the amp.

The speakers in these are... 5x7? components. (separate tweeters) But the OEM speakers are really pretty decent. I'd see if you can snag a replacement amp somewhere, and see if that's the culprit

my money is also on the amp, i've lost three total now.
yep 5x7 with separate tweeters.
i went ahead and rewired after my amp died again.
aftermarket head unit, sub amp, and a 4 channel with new 3 way speakers.
even budget stuff is on par with the best ford could do 23 years ago now imo.

Now a little update, On my way out of class I only got random fade,no pop. Then right when someone got in my car it started working perfectly fine again.
Still gonna invest in a new system though

Sure sounds like a loose wire, bad ground. I'd be looking at passenger door connections.

Turned out to be moisture getting in from me not shutting the door all the way
