FWIW, I can't recommend the dual kit that I bought, as I had to make so many changes, it would have be easier (and maybe cheaper) to just use seperate bends.
Yup old thread, just doing my research though. I'm looking at getting THIS. Is that the same system you bought or no? Also why did you use those clamps over the ball/socket design?

Yes, that's the kit I bought, in stainless.

I used the V-Band clamps because they're smaller and seal a bit better.

Ok, thank you.

I'm trying to weigh my options. Get that kit and weld it up or just have my exhaust shop bend and weld up there own version.

I'm looking at 2.25 tubing because my x pipe is that size but I dont want to lose out on any TQ/HP that I can gain.

I have the FRPP Shortie headers. After a little searching I think I'll stick with a 2.25 tubeing to retain some low end TQ. If/ever someday I get my KB set up I'll fab up a larger exhaust then.

Sure, choke that top end HP so you can match the size of the x-pipe you have. :D

Well I just picked up an 03 Cobra exhaust for basically for free. I figure my engine is basically stock, so until I get my motor finished 2.25 should be ok. How much of a HP/TQ difference is there?

I seriously doubt more than 1-2 HP with stock motor/intake. I believe I have seen dyno sheets of exhaust builds (on 4.6L DOHC Mustangs) that would collaborate that.

Not until you start looking at heads/cams/intake would you realistically see a significant enough difference IMHO.
