Safe-T-Alert for propane keeps beeping red and i cannot smell propane anywhere. Not sure what's causing it to do that

Some of those things have a finite lifespan, and will simply start beeping (once every couple minutes or so) as an indicator to be replaced. usually something like ~10 or 15 years..

I've heard some of those are sensitive to "other" kinds of gas also, so if you've been hitting the Chipotle hard recently, maybe it's that.... :)

How old is the RV? Mine is doing it too...I have an 07 and I know I gotta replace it. No replaceable batteries.

Not sure about propane specifically, but 'gas' detector sensors generally have a life span. Oxygen sensors seem to have the shortest shelf life. They have improved over the years but still require replacement. I suspect you would be better off simply getting a replacement detector as I doubt the sensor is replaceable.

Sounds about right. I know the "clocks" in those things are far from accurate, but for their purposes, +/- 2 years is probably still good enough.

It looks like MTI (maker of the "safe-t-alert" suggests replacement every five years.

Personally, I also bring a battery powered smoke / CO detector along when I use my pop-up camper. I'm pretty worried about the 45 year old furnace in that thing trying to kill me too..
