You buying it?
We came to an agreement, so yes. I almost bought a 65 mustang convertible a few weeks back but $ was to steep, almost bought a 98, there were two local with low miles and no rust, bob w/heated seats and sunroof, but i didn't pull the trigger. Wish summer wasnt almost over now.

I can crawl under it/over it if you wish, it would have to be in a week before I'm back in town.
The way the sub frames are welded together are questionable at best.

So, pretty soon I'll be enjoying the clunk clunk clunk of the drivers and passengers doors, of quite possibly one of the best cars of my imagination. I love these cars, now, I think it's time for a three way. ... swap!

Thanks, I got extensive video of it on a lift, top going up, current condition. Is all good. I gotta put quality air back into it though, maybe fix the exhaust. Ive got a set of octastars, hid's, lsc bumpers and moldings, and a light graphite interior to throw into it. Get rid of that fake wood bs.

Congratulations!

I love those cars.

I've ridden in a convertible before, it was nice.

Sure, it will never feel as solid as a coupe, they never do, but who cares, it's a convertible.

Here's a shot of Darrel's Midnight Opal next to my Green Mark VIII. It's an old photo, so old, Jeremi's pullied number 1 was there.:)

I'm glad to see you're getting it, and keeping another convertible in the club.

Let me know if you need any kind of airport service. I'm nearby. If pickup is sometime after September 1st, I can offer lodging as well.

Thank you, I'm actually at the airport as I type. Should be picking it up around 5 central time. Start driving home, get a hotel around midnight, then drive some more. Total will be about $200 cheaper than shipping, lots more fun, and instant acquisition.

It should be a real nice drive.

As for your hotel, I've had good luck in the South Bend, Indiana area, and I think your timing will be about right.

Depending upon your driving style, going through Chicago at midnight to 2am, is ideal. EZ-Pass simplifies tolls significantly. If you don't have one, you could borrow mine and mail it back to me or something. I'm pretty much on your way out of town anyway.

You may just dodge the rain I see down near Chicago, too..

Another option would be if you can make it to Manitowoc, WI by midnight, you can catch the 1am ferry across lake Michigan. it's about $140, but then you can sleep on the boat. (deck chairs on the bow, bring a sleeping bag.)

Thanks, she's really solid, surprisingly the only noise is the passenger window bracket, which can be tightened. However, she is 19 yo and really needs some TLC, everything except the oil, ties and brakes are original. I'll fix some things and drive her for about 15 years more or so.
