We came to an agreement, so yes. I almost bought a 65 mustang convertible a few weeks back but $ was to steep, almost bought a 98, there were two local with low miles and no rust, bob w/heated seats and sunroof, but i didn't pull the trigger. Wish summer wasnt almost over now.You buying it?
Thanks, I got extensive video of it on a lift, top going up, current condition. Is all good. I gotta put quality air back into it though, maybe fix the exhaust. Ive got a set of octastars, hid's, lsc bumpers and moldings, and a light graphite interior to throw into it. Get rid of that fake wood bs.I can crawl under it/over it if you wish, it would have to be in a week before I'm back in town.
The way the sub frames are welded together are questionable at best.
Thank you, I'm actually at the airport as I type. Should be picking it up around 5 central time. Start driving home, get a hotel around midnight, then drive some more. Total will be about $200 cheaper than shipping, lots more fun, and instant acquisition.I'm glad to see you're getting it, and keeping another convertible in the club.
Let me know if you need any kind of airport service. I'm nearby. If pickup is sometime after September 1st, I can offer lodging as well.
Very cool find. Congrats! Save the classics and keep them alive. Convertibles are fun after the sun goes down or is setting in FL. The convertible more than makes up for the clunking and twisting noises. Just weld some frame connectors under there to stiffen things up a bit and it will be fine.
