Yak, when it says that it can't be used "During operation" was it in gear? If so then it needs the bypass, if it shows the same message in park then i'm not sure.

Yep, it was in gear when that message comes up. Definitely needs the bypass. One of these days I'll pick it up.

I read you bypassed the stock amp. Did you use the stock speakers?

Yes, the stock speakers are still in use. The new head unit has plenty of power to drive them.

For some reason I thought the stock speakers were 6 ohms. If so does that pose any issues for the head unit?

Sorry for the late reply here. No issues at all with the stock speakers. They sound great!
