What to do with my 97 LSC

I would start out with gears (with trac-loc) and a J mod to the transmission.

My 97 has a 373 ratio, it's a lot of fun, but still gets decent mileage and is driveable anywhere.
This... Get a extra third member get it setup while still driving your car. Swapping it can be done in the driveway Same can be done with a j mod ~fair warning~ doing this will only increase the itch demanding that you get a tune...converter...so on and so forth. I would go deeper with the gear...4.10s these engines like to rev

this is true, but be weary of the driveline critical speed. You can find a used 93 1-piece driveline or purchase a MMX (metal-matrix). some folks have found that the 94-98 2-piece driveline tend to have increased vibration when higher gear sets have been installed. Furthermore, there is also the risk of damaging the tail shaft bushing so some folks have implemented the 'force lube' mod to the rear tailshaft housing.

I took her out today after sitting for about a month. The tone from the motor puts me to sleep. The issue with the slight wobble in the steering keeps my attention though. Then when I punch it she roars like a lion.
I think I will do more modest improvements as she is nice!

Are you wanting to keep stock wheels IF you upgrade the brakes? Reason I ask is that a lot of us guys upgrade/update to the Mustang Cobra brake set-up (which also changes your lug pattern from 5 x 4.25" to 5x 4.5"). However, it opens up HUGE brake possibilities and wheel choices by doing the conversion.

I have found black EBC rotors with yellow pads from car iis.I will keep stock rotors but paint them gold. I like the 5 spoke Cobra wheels and am looking for similar chrome and gold. The car is black with gold pinstripe. Hoping to keep stock sizes.

That is Car ID. I hate these auto spellers. Lola.

And I meant paint the stock caliper either black or gold over the black rotor with yellow pads. Long day.

Too bad. I was looking forward to a Gold rotor, particularly after a few days/weeks of use... :D

While you are at it, might as well switch to the braided stainless brake hoses too. It will help get rid of some of the original rubber hose swell and spongy feel. Then again, you could always just replace them with fresh rubber hoses as well. Either way, do a COMPLETE brake system fluid flush (you won't believe how much difference just that will make) to get all of the old waterlogged fluid out of the system.
