Wireless keeps turning off

I have a Lenovo thinkpad laptop. The wireless keeps turning off. The troubleshooter turns it back on no problem, but it keeps turning off by itself. Anyone have an idea to stop this from happening? Here's a screen shot of the troubleshooter turning it back on:

My experience with this in the past has been windows cutting power off to the adapter:

Configuring power management using the user interface
To turn power management features on or off
Open Network and Sharing Center (click the Start button, type Network and Sharing in the Start Search box, and press Enter).
Click the Change adapter settings link in the upper left of the navigation pane.
Right click the network connection you want to enable/disable power management support on and click Properties .
Click Configure .
On the Power Management tab, check or clear the Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power check box.
When checked, power management is enabled on the network adapter.

When cleared, power management is disabled on the network adapter.

I'll give that a look. The funny thing is, sometimes it works fine and doesn't turn off on me.

I like enriquei's suggestion. Definitely check that.

Also, check for hot-keys that turn the wireless radio on and off. Sometimes they're touch sensitive, sometimes they are associated with one of the "F-keys" along the top of the keyboard. They're always easy to bump without noticing..

Most modern laptops seem to have about three different ways to turn the wireless on and off. it always leads to confusion.

Thanks Mike, I think that was it. I use a wireless keyboard with my laptop at home. I forgot that I had a broken "4" key on the actual laptop keyboard. It was wedged into the F keys.:D
