Rules? We don't need no rules... just friendly honest competition.

        Right now we these classes:
        • Naturally Aspirated, Stock and Modified
        • Boosted
        • Nitrous
        • Super Modified

Careful... you'll end up in the Super modified class. LOL

            • The list will be back soon, I hope.. We encountered a technical glitch during a forum upgrade, and much of our content vanished.. I know the powers that be are working on it..

This is the "OFFICIAL" list of the Quickest Lincolns of Distinction. This thread is closed for posting. Please post in the "DISCUSSION" thread

You guys can make your own terms for whatever bragging rights you want, that's not the purpose of this thread or "the list".

                  This is how it started...

Let's get a list going of 1/4 miles times. This is not a flame thread so please don't make any claims that cannot be verified.

Keep the thread clean, just post username, full name, year and model of car(must be Lincoln) and your 1/4 time and trap speed. PLEASE USE THE FOLLOWING FORMAT...

                  username/full name/year & model/ET@MPH

That way, I can just cut and paste onto the list and avoid errors.

Posting a pic of the timeslip or a link to a video is encouraged. Also state whether naturally aspirated, boosted or nitrous so we can have 3 separate categories.

We'll make this a 'sticky' and I'll update the "OFFICIAL" list as much as possible.
It was a general consensus at the time of my engine build that I had moved beyond the definition of 'stock' or 'modified' for 'naturally aspirated'. I recused myself and created a class for 'Super Modified'. The 'stock' engine times remained on the naturally aspirated list and further updates were updated under the 'Super Modified' classification.

One could argue over several builds over time and the posted times for such. Lonnie, Sierra3, Eli and Ponyfreak all could be questionable as 'stock'. Hell, I have a Terminator swapped CE listed under 'boosted'... there were no cries of foul with it.

I've said it countless times, the entire purpose of this list is to create a spirit of competition. To give others a goal to meet or an ET to beat. Nothing more than bragging rights at most.

Personally, I think it has achieved that. And continues to do so.

                            • They don't appear for us, either... We've been dealing with some corruption on the forum. Although we have an open ticket with the vendor on this issue, they haven't exactly been responsive.

Rest assured, we're still working on it, and have every expectation on getting this data back.
