We weren't real organized last year (obviously). The person who was going to be pres didn't pay his club dues, so thus couldn't be pres, so we kinda just didn't really do much.

But hopefully this year we'll be able to do more. I personally will be a little more limited in how much I can travel, but I'd love to see the midwest group have some get togethers and events and such.

So far we've got Bill willing to do the job. Anyone else interested in running? I'm not sure how exactly how we should do this, but if he's the only one interested, let's get him elected right away!

I would love to get involved but I'll be working a second job soon and I don't think I'll have anytime to donate to the cause.

Dave you dont really to do to much. Just setting up some meets here and there, updating the chapters webpage or finding somebody to set it up for you.

One thing I guess I would like to see is if we can get ourselves and updated roster with names/e-mails of all midwest members. That way, we can send e-mails when some important issue such as this comes up.

I still think the Midwest is a little tricky cause we cover such a huge area, but maybe we can talk again about splitting into two chapters if that seems to make sense?

That may be true but it requires me to be awake and functioning :D I'm working on getting a roommate, if that happens I won't need to get a second job and I may be able to help.
