Welcome to the LOD-NCA page. We are proud to be a part of this community, and I personally want to extend a word of gratitude to the other members/chapters who have not only supported this site, but have visited our Forum, and left messages of kindness. When I first bought my Mark VIII, I thought I would be the only one(other than my GF) who would appreciate this car. Before long, I located a few "forums" on the internet that seemed to have "life" to them. This is one of them. I logged in and started reading, and learning, and I realized that the Mark VIII is more than just a car. It is the cornerstone of a "community". You good people are what makes owning such a fine automobile an honor.
I look forward to meeting more members of the Mark VIII world. I also want to thank the "backbone" of this website. You know who you are. Thanks for putting up with my "security implements" that were causing log in errors, and for allowing me to be "tardy" in my LOD registration. I know of other web forum's that would be so patient.
And to my fellow LOD-NCA members. I do bigger burn outs than you!!!!!
I hope to see some of you at the dragstrip next season. Not to race(well, that would be cool too), but to watch, support, take pictures of your dream cars from yeaster-year, and to just hang out as a "group", a "gathering", and a "chapter". Thanks gang!!!
