A delayed Carlisle Curse

Usually these are problems that happen on the way to Carlisle. This happened to my car as soon as I got off the expressway, close to my house, on the way home.

The check air ride message appeared and the car was slammed.

I pulled into a gas station near the air machine and tried turning the car off then started it. The compressor ran and the suspension lifted no problem.

Two days later, on the way home from work it happened again, this time, the re-boot didn't help.

I had pulled over at an air machine again, and used my spider valve to pump the suspension back up for the drive home.

Saturday, I took a quick look at it, and when I went to start the car, the battery was dead.

I put a good battery in, and right away, the compressor started running, I turned the switch off in the trunk to stop it, as the key wasn't on, and the solenoids weren't even open.

It turned out to be just a fried compressor relay, but I'm glad it didn't happen on the way to Carlisle.:)
