Here's some pics someone sent me of my car from a recent rack event...

Dang man...looks like its pulling hecka hard! :D

Someone needs to introduce that lady to a digital camera! Does that use full VHS tapes? HAHA! :D

Nah, I figure I need at least 2 more inches to get air under those front wheels.

The before and after pics allow to do some comparative measuring. Performing some picture magic in Macromedia Fireworks MX, I calculate the front is lifting almost 4" but the rear is dropping between 1 and 2 inches for a pitch up attitude of about 6".

Looks like you are getting some nice launches there JP. I am going to guess you are flashing the TC, correcto?

Yes and no. Sometimes I'll launch from an idle, sometimes not. I find it difficult to be consistent at anything but an idle but the car seems to launch better if I stall the converter some.

Lol! :)

I know that when I launched my car when I got down to the 13.8 range I would hear the front struts "bang" because they topped out from such a hard launch. I imagine its because my car was so low and I had more "play" in the struts but it was crazy!

You had the coil-over conversion, correct?

I will be interested in seeing any difference at the track with the newer struts. They weren't new, but had a lot less mileage than the originals.

Funny part was, I started to work on the rear shock bushings(poly mounts) when this all started. LOL
