An easy upgrade for gen 1 seats

After driving a gen 2 all winter, I noticed one of my gen 1's drivers seat seemed uncomfortable and worn out on the seat bottom. I put 2 pieces of 1" foam 10" square, under the original foam, above the springs, in the center, and it's as comfy as the gen 2 now.
It was easy, you don't even need to remove the seat, just unscrew and unclip the seat switch plastic piece so you can get to the front and left side straps that hold the leather seat bottom down. There's a couple large and small plastic clips on the ends of the straps that just pop off from the inside of the straps.

I can relate... I've always said you sit ON a Gen1 seat but sit IN a Gen2 seat. ;)
