Air Suspention on a 90 Mark VII

This car has been leaking for years. But when you start the car it pumps right up. Well that now has changed to, it pumps up, but while driving around it deflates and I have to pull over, shut it off the restart to make it pump up again. Any thoughts as to why? Is it only going to get worse?

It is already "worse". Next thing to go will be your air pump from overuse trying to keep your struts inflated. Replacement is the only answer now. http://www.americanairsuspension.com/ Check out this site for air strut info.

Do you know approx what it costs to either fix or change the system over? And is it worth it for an older car like this?

I've never been a fan of coil conversions myself but i know several Mark VII guys who have converted. It is easier and cheaper than on a Mark VIII.

Strutmasters is one of those those who have had both good and bad feedback. American Air Suspension sells the same product for like $10 more. If it were my money, that's whom I would chose.
