Message: Check charging system on 96 Diamond edition

The main thing I needed to know is if the voltage regulator was in the alternator. Apparently it is.

Message: Check charging system on 96 Diamond edition

So I put a meter on the battery and at 1200 rpm the Fluke meter reads 18.5 vdc. Can hear a whirring sound under the hood and the airshock pump revs up with engine RPM. Any ideas? Tia Chuck

    Upper Control arm replacement?

So I am getting ready to replace the upper control arms on my 1996 Anniversary Edition Mark. I am not real clear if the spring will present a problem and the best way to deal with the problem. Can someone clear up exactly what I am facing with this job? TIA Chuck

Brakes cause loud rattle in the front

I am going to have to replace the upper control (?) arms on my 95 Mark. They have some play and I think that is also the rattle. I am wondering if one of my rotors may be warped also. Any suggestions on replacing the upper control arms? Parts? Procedure? Thanks Chuck

    Idle low?

Ever since I moved to Leadville Colorado (Elevation 10,200 feet) My 1996 Mark idles at 500 RPM. It also tends to die if I pop the gas pedal while in gear. Any Way to increase the RPM a bit? Thanks

    Coolant Leak

Well my 96 Mark has began leaking coolant from the front of the crank where the harmonic balancer is. I am guessing that it might be a water pump. Any ideas? How difficult will this project be? Thanks in advance

    P1537 code

This appears to be a busted vacuum diaphragm in the passenger’s side IMRC keeping it open all the time. Put a hose on it and air easily passes in and out of the thing and the actuator does not move except by hand. The other side closes with vacuum normally, and does not leak air. Called down...
