The 100th anniversary of the Lincoln Motor Company, one of the world’s great luxury marques, will be celebrated in 2022, commemorating the centennial of Lincoln’s acquisition by the Ford Motor Company in February 1922. Originally founded by Henry Leland, Lincoln had begun building luxury passenger cars in 1920.

The Lincoln Motor Car Foundation, which oversaw creation of the Lincoln Motor Car Heritage Museum & Research Foundation, Inc., will hold this year’s Centennial Homecoming on August 10-13, 2022, on the museum grounds in Hickory Corners, Michigan. Optional pre-Homecoming events will take place in Dearborn, Michigan, on August 7-10.

Serving as host for the 2022 Homecoming will be the Lincoln and ContinentalOwners Club (LCOC). The Lincoln MotorCar Foundation (LMCF) board is comprisedof individuals from the four major Lincolnclubs—the Lincoln Owners Club, the Lincoln-Zephyr Owners Club, the Road RaceLincoln Register and the LCOC.

I finally got signed up for this. I had a hard time justifying the entire week-long event, which is a shame because there are a tours scheduled for a whole bunch of places I'd love to see.

We're arriving Thursday the 11th, sometime, and heading home on Sunday the 14th. I can't really recommend the host hotel, the "four points." so instead booked a room at the "Comfort Inn Wings Stadium" just West of there instead. It has the perk of being a little less expensive, too. If any club members find a different place they prefer, I'm happy to change. It's always more fun when we're in the same place.

I did sign up for the Saturday banquet, as well as the drive to Marshall, MI, with the "lunch on your own" option, as there's a brewery there I'd like to visit. :)

It's worth noting that if you have memberships with some of the "host" Lincoln clubs, there are some discounts to be had.

We plan to be there as well. (y)

I'm hoping to bring the recently rejuvenated Opal Opalescent '96. Whether or not it's up for the road trip has yet to be determined. Plan B would be to trailer it to the hotel or venue and drive it for the weekend.

The cutoff date for registering is fast approaching, so if you are thinking of attending, PLEASE sign up asap! This has been a very nice show and has become one of my personal favorites. I would very much like to see a large LOD presence.

Roll call... so who's in?

I'm still thrashing on the Opal '96 so I may end up bringing the Blue Flame instead but I plan to be there regardless just for the R&R. Just a couple days before it's time to load up and move out!

Nice. I thought I'd pop this up to ask the same question.

I haven't even started packing yet, but I think that changes right now.

We're in. Kim, Kaitlynn, and Mike, from the sounds of things.
