    2009-2025 LOD Calendar

I have to show my work? :p How often in years do calendars repeat the same day-date combinations? What years are leap years? Disclaimer: I do not use Google unless I want to see different ads and unsolicited emails. I prefer DuckDuckGo as my search engine.

    2009-2025 LOD Calendar

Thanks Bill! (y) :giggle: This is one of those mundane subjects that has always intrigued me. Yeah, we all know that every so often calendars repeat themselves, but I never understood how and why, Sure, you could just look it up but the engineer in me is not satisfied with "looking it up"...

My opinion only - the CD players in the Mark VIII did not age very well.

Sort of, not a weekend, actually day trip through Amish Country, Ohio. ;) We rented a "cabin in the woods" for two nights so we could travel with Roscoe, our 4 year old Golden Doodle. The cabin was fairly remote and the 5 acre property allowed Roscoe to be off-leash but remain in sight. He...

    Strut rod torque

That's the problem I see frequently with most AI searches... with so many wrong answers available, it selects the most prevalent one, not necessarily the correct one. Much akin to my take on most questions posted on FaceBook... you will get the wrong answer, the right answer and everything...

    New OEM Rear Glass

We actually had a discussion on the difficulty level of the job. He declined to say it was the difficult but ranked it as challenging. When I pressed him further, he said in his opinion it was not as difficult as tri-five Chevy windshields or old Freightliner tractor windshields. He did confirm...

    New OEM Rear Glass

Here are several pics of the OEM sealant around the window opening. The old glass set aside. We will be keeping it 'just in case'. The new glass with tint applied getting prepped for installation. Here the glass is attached to a fixture for alignment and test fitting. Here is the...

    New OEM Rear Glass

As everyone knows, a new OEM rear glass is unobtanium and has been for quite some time. I happen to know a guy who knows a guy story... A local detailer who has been taking care of my cars recently was commenting on the rear window seal of my '96 when I was having them do the hood/roof/trunk...

Replacing power steering high pressure line

I once borrowed a Ford Senior Master Technician's "special wrench". It was basically a cut-off 12 point box end wrench with a slot cut at about 45 degree angle to the handle. The slot was to make it similar to a line wrench. If I recall correctly the 'handle' was also heated and bent at a...
