It wasn't planned, though admittedly it was in my dreams.

To the astute observer, you'll recognize the "World's Fastest Lincoln" as none other than THE 1993 Land Speed Bonneville Mark VIII.
It was purely happenstance that I ended up owning this unique piece of Lincoln history. I happened upon a post that it was being listed on an auction site I follow and one thing led to another and I unexpectedly won the auction. I say "unexpectedly" because I truly thought it would sell above my budget and there were at least a couple heavy hitters that were bidding as well. Anyways, a week following the auction, it was sitting in the driveway (after a 5 day road trip).
I took it out today for a short cruise and a photo shoot.
