20+ Houston Area Car Club compete in a season long points race.
Come join in the fun and race your car with the "Crazy VIII's Racing Team".
We welcome all comers, we dont discriminate between 1st Gen and 2nd Gen's. Come out enjoy the fun, pit your luck and skill against cars such as Mustangs, Firebirds, Imports and even the venerable Lightning Pickup!
If you are concerned about not having the "fastest car on the planet" then this is DEFINATLEY the "race for you".
Handicap ET bracket racing is the format of this race, meaning....
A faster car and a slower car will race one another with the slower car getting a handicap headstart.
It's a ton of fun and very easy for "first timers", as more than 1 Lincoln Mark VIII driver has taken home a trophy on their first visit to the dragstrip.
{just ask "Toyz or Tripany" how easy it is to drive a Lincoln Mark VIII to the winners circle!}
For those that are interested and want to get a little "pre-CCB Practice" we are also going Lone Star Raceway on friday night for "Street Stock" competition.
It's the same format at CCB except there's no "club" racing.
It's a great way to get a little practice before CCB or just to "hone your skills" before the event on Saturday.
Friday Night is the same cost as Saturday's race.
Gates open at 6 on friday for the night race.
Gates open at noon on Saturday for the Car Club Race.
A VERY FULL weekend of "close, exciting bracket racing".
