for the guys that have arts headers what did u do about the AIR bungs on the front of each header. also what about o2 extensions. let me know because im putting them on in a couple of days. thanks for any advice and info. this site is one of a kind and i wouldnt know the begining of the potential of this car if it wasnt for this site. mike

one way to find out. i used chris' headers and i used an aftermarket knuckle. makes the steering feel better at least.

you can extend the wires on the o2 sensors yourself. Just get some good wire, some heatshrink tubing, and some solder.

Um, don't you still need the O2's in the header for Gen1's? How is the vehicle to tell what it's readings are without them? Or am I missing something here?

There are extra AIR fittings in front of the headers. You have them on the 2nd gen, the lines to AI pump/solenoid hook up there.

The stock knuckle hits the headers and mine was touching close to where it would eventually cut through the header over time. i went with a skinny billet one ordered from summitt racing. After you grind off a tab on steering knuckle to fit, it works great. it has a D shaped end you have to mod to fit. It now clears with lots of room.
