I was hoping to make it to Carlisle this year but I got a new body part (left hip) that apparently needs more break-in period than I thought.

Bill! Sorry to hear about your hip. I hope it was scheduled! it'll take time to heal, but don't skip the PT. You've got this.

I just registered this morning. This is your reminder that you only have a couple days left to get the "gate and go" discount/deadline. It still came out to something like $67 for me, but at least I got it done this year. :)

Thanks Mike, it was scheduled but I didn't think it would take as long as it will to heal/rehab. I'm looking forward to the Lincoln Homecoming where I can walk through all the museums without pain.

Ha! I just stopped by to post the same image. I suspect our row is underneath the text for "Hospitality tent" It's a perfectly good spot. I have no complaints.

Do we know who is signed up yet? I'm fully confirmed. (show, lodging.) as I presume is Driller.

I will not be there. Starting a new job next week. Been unemployed since January. We also had a vacation to Greece and Italy planned that through Tara’s work but that got cancelled 3 weeks ago because she also suddenly changed jobs. Been an eventful few months.

Wow. That's a lot of "churn," Mike. Congrats on the new job though. I'm glad that came together for you. Too bad about the vacation. I've never visited either, and would love to.

I'm planning on hitting the road tonight, but I haven't even started packing. Probably driving a dirty car, too. I just haven't had the chance to prepare the way I'd prefer. At least it should put me through Chicago at a reasonable (read: late) time to avoid the worst of the traffic.

If I make my anticipated Thursday afternoon arrival at the showfield, I'll have plenty of space (and time, and beer) to wash and wax when I get there. It should be a nice trip.

Don't feel all alone, I plan to clean/detail the car on the showfield as well. (y)

My 'to do' list took longer than expected and still never got done! ;)

That's reassuring. We'll just channel our inner Badsax. "The car's filthy, but it's here."

Any requests from MN or anywhere en-route?

Forecast seems decent, anyway

I'd like to go next year, could someone, if they get a chance, drive down Calvary road to see if they still have the camping available there?
