Cruise-in

Local Chevy dealer has a cruise-in every month on Friday evenings, and I thought I would take The Mark and Wendy there and check it out. Met a bunch of people - friend of a friend type, and also a neighbor of mine that owns the beautiful SSR show truck below. Had a great time. :)

lol I even got to lay the smack down on one of the vettes in the show as we were leaving to come home. lol He was a good sport about it and gave me a honk and a thumbs up after he took his lick'n... :cool:

Thanks, JP :) lol Something else happened there too - I turn into the dealership, and follow the signs through the lot that lead to the car show area, and a lady starts running towards me waving her arms from the gate where they are collecting donations. I stop, and she says that spectator parking is back the other way, and this way was for car show entries.

lol This is like the third time this has happened to me going to different events. I smiled, and told her she made my day... but I intend to show the car. :cool:

The same thing happened to me at the All Ford Show at Summit Racing this year.. I was told "store parking" was on the other side of the building.
I took a top 40 trophy at that one.
