I just heard back from my alt guy and he says it prolly won't be here till the monday after the meet. :-( I'll see if I can have him overnight it or something, but it's lookign doubtful. :-(

Well, you'll both just have to make up for it by makeing SURE you're at carlisle

I'm not sure how many we're going to have coming, since most of the responses i got on the other board were "i'll try". I'd hate to have a few people drive so far and then not really have much to do. Hopefully we'll at least get some folks from the Detroit area, esp. those that haven't shown up at a meet yet.

That's the plan. Hooters on Van Dyke, 1 pm on Saturday April 5th.
I went go-karting yesterday with a friend, at Kart 2 Kart (www.kart2kart.com). I was thinking we could all go there after lunch for a few races. As long as we don't get a huge turnout, i should have enough coupons for everyone for buy 1 get 1 free. It's $20 to race for 10 mins, but with the coupons you get 2 runs for 10 mins each. It was good fun, and it's all in the driver. No governors, you have to find the fastest way around the track and take it. i thought i was doing good, until some guys that work there came out and bested my lap times by nearly 2 seconds.

Since it's at 1 p.m., I will not be able to make it. My work schedule changed and I'm working Saturday days twice a month, and this is one of them. Have fun, and eat some wings for me!

I'll be there in my beater, since the Lincoln is still in the bodyshop. It's been 2.5 weeks, and they said 2 weeks (money pit anyone?) but i told them to take their time and do a good job, so that's okay. Now they're saying sometime next week. Anyway, i'll be there in the truck. So if you want to see my purdy new paint job you'll have to come on down to Carlisle this year.
