VIII looking for 8s
Hey guys, so here is a glove box discussion for ya. In a nutshell, my diet and physical activity have gone to the wayside and I really want to start up with a program again. Does anyone here have a membership at a health club and could point me in the right direction?

I am 6'5" and weigh about 210 so I am one skinny dude, but regardless feel that I could be in better health. Even skinny people can have high cholesterol, etc. My genetics allow me to tone pretty easily but bulking up is where it gets very difficult and where I have lost motivation in the past. I have pretty high metabolism. I would imagine I am going to need very aggressive weight-lifting and a very high food intake to accomplish this feat.

Penut butter and lean steak and other high protein foods. Maybe some full body weight lifting like sqauts dead lifts and power clings.

I did that years ago, lots of eating and working out, I gained about 20 pounds.

It got to be too expensive and took too much time, so I quit and lost the weight again. :D

The biggest misconception is that you need a ton of protein to bulk up. Just because you eat protein, does not mean it makes muscle (which is protein).

You don't want to gain a lot of weight anyway... that make's your car slower.

Seriously though...peanut butter makes you a FATTY, just had to make sure you turn it into mussscles. :p

I'm in the same boat man....would love to be that buffed out cop but it takes sooo much time! I've been enjoying my month off work by throwing logs, splitting, and cutting trees. Seems I've lost 7 pounds already...hopefully that was fat and not muscle loss, hah.

On the serious side....P90X...everyone at my office is doing it and they are getting into shape.

I did say protein WITH full body exercise. If you are working out to build mass and are underweight to start with, then a little fat in peanut butter isn't going to hurt.

Well, I am signed up at the local "Snap Fitness" center and will be meeting with a personal trainer on Thursday. I am ready to lay it all out for him. I am a "hard gainer" and it is probably going to take a 3500 calorie/day diet full of carbs and proteins to accomplish this feat. Whey protein is on order and I am greatly considering taking a Growth Hormone Releaser to go along with it. NOT to be confused with the very expensive injection form. This is the natural form I am speaking of which makes your body release more of it. Obviously, self-determination is the most important and I am charging forward with this. I'm going to be taking part in a boot camp class because I need it. I have been lazy too long and need someone to get mean with me because I can be a stubborn sonofagun. The extreme body-buliding challenge begins Thursday!

Well, from what I've learned about GH and creatin type supplements, as soon as you stop working out you completely lose everything. Happened to my best friend in highschool. Was nice and bulky while taking some sups, got with a girl, stopped working out, and he completely lost it all like he was on a diet or something. It was really quite scary how fast he lost it.

Anyhow...yoi sound determined so be ready to give up all your video game time. Lol
