Well right now i have the mufflers off and trying to decide what to put in there place on my lsc..I was taking a peak at these

Inlet: 2.25"
Outlet: 2.25"
Overall Length: 22"
Body Length: 18"
Body Type: 3.5" Round

Just a basic res/glasspack. $22 shipped each on e bay..I still have to measure but these should come close to fitting w/ a little work. The reasoning behind this is i want it just a tad quieter then straight pipes but louder then stock. Is it worth it or should i just get reg 2.25 pipe and extend it to my factory tips??

I DO NOT WANT TO SPEND ALOT SO PLEASE DONT SUGGEST ANYTHING OUT OF THIS PRICE RANGE. Gracias.

IMHO, glasspacks sound much better. They cut the noise and the drone, but stay out of the way when you go WOT.

I would get the glasspacks, and then put standard tips back on. It'll look stock, but you'll be able to "announce your presence with authority" on occasion!

Glasspacks sound too raspy IMHO. The bullet mufflers from MagnaFlow sound really good if you want to go that style.

Thanks for the comparasion. I dont mind if its loud at wot just a little more of a controlled sound. Which pretty much comes with adding abit more resistence. Well as much as you can ask for in this situation.

Well i'd find it hard to believe that by just adding gp's would make it more "rattly" then it somewhat allready is.

I know what you mean but the glasspacks are made to BE rattly and poppy. (now I'm making up words which tells you they are crappy!) :D

If you want to save money and get rid of the raspyness, just buy ONE resonator and put in right behind the 3rd cat. It should clear up everything and make it drone less and a lil quieter.

I have a dual in/dual out Flowmaster mounted where the 3rd cat used to be, then the straight factory pipes all the way back. No drone inside and a nice sound outside. I have the 50 Series for trucks/SUVs and I might replace it with a 40 Series which is more for a Mustang. People hear my exhaust, expect to see a Mustang but see my Mark!

I understand you indicated the price range of the glasspacks, but sometimes a bargain really isn't a bargain. What if you don't like the way they sound and then have to take them out in favor of something else?
