Got lucky with original hids.

Went to one of the pick and pull in Houston to get the headlights from a 97 LSC they have. Since the hids in my 98 Mark Viii are bad I want to practice on installing LEDs and didn't want to mess my original headlight units. Paid 64 for both and they still had the hid bulbs. I got home and tried both of them on my car and to my luck, both of them worked!!! Now all I have to do is clean the headlight lenses and probably sell them.

Personally I'd put all of that on a shelf. You never know when you'll need a spare headlight.

I second that motion. Good parts for these cars are getting harder to find.

That's probably what I should do. The bottom trim is the same color as my car so I don't have to worry about painting them.

Yeah. You really got lucky. I'm constantly on the lookout for "Deep Navy" parts for the same reason. They're.. not easy to find..
