I just wanted to put it on record since the change in format that I do want to talk about Mark V's, if there's anybody else that's interested.

Well, I don't have much to contribute except to say I like them, and that I one day hope to have a Mark V project car with a FMS 460 crate engine :)

Just something about those big old sleds...

The Mark V I liked best was the 1979 in a color called Red Rose, it was actually Pink Metallic. Not very many were made, and it even had a matching pink vinyl roof and pink leather accented with burgundy trim. I like it then & I like it now.

My Mark is sort of Pink. It's actually Light Red Moondust Metallic with a dark red half vinyl top and interior. I have a 460/C6 combo to put in, but can't afford to build the motor just yet.

It doesn't look like the Mark Vs are getting much attention here, but I am currently putting a 500 horse 429CJ in a 79 Mark V Bill Blass Edition, so I'm interested :)
 
WE really do need our own message group. There are alot of mark V owners and collectors out there, and no where to chit chat. I have a 1979 Mark V Collectors series.
