Metal Radio Installation Kits

Does anyone know where I could get a metal installation kit for our cars. I have a single DIN radio and want a kit that is really strong and ofcource good looking.

Buy a el cheapo plasitc one and take it to your local machine shop and tell them to make you one. Get ready to pay out your ass tho. Last year, I made one like that for one of my friends and his explorer. It was aluminum. I annodized it red and then swirl brushed it to bring the swirls back to the normal aluminum color. If i can get him to send me pics, ill post them, it looks pretty sweet.

EDIT: This was when I had the schools machine shop and plating labs available at my disposal

I went with a plastic kit and bought some metal shafts to mount behing the dash. I wish I could show you what I did but it would take forever to get this radio out. I should have taken pictures. BUT, I might be changing the radio to a networking mode so it will have to come out for that.

BTW - Ice, can you lend some pointers on tweaking this bad boy. I have 2 amps, one for highs and the other for lows. Thanks
